Good evening, sweet folks.
Christmas is upon us. It is Sunday. I’m sitting on my bed warming my hands and soul on a giant cup of tea. I’ve lighted no less than 13 candles all over my room and I’m listening to this song on repeat. Or rather singing along quite loud (my dorm floor is almost deserted).
Dramatic, yes. But my heart is a bit sore tonight. The usual Sunday blues and a longing for not being alone. A longing for belonging to someone. Being very special to another person and that kind of intimate magic. Tonight I am special to myself. I will sleep in my own arms in my own bed. And soon I will head home for the Holidays and be surrounded by some of the best people in the world.
Remember to take care of each other.
It is Christmas and many hearts are heavy around this time of the year.
