Harry Potter Luv Vol. 1

I read the first Harry Potter book when I was 9. And as I grew, Harry and his friends grew too. Some think that the books are children’s books. I do not. Some people think that the world is going to end in 2012. I think so too, because 2012 will be the first year since 1997 without Harry, Hermione and Ron. Oh I miss them! And all my HP books are packed away in boxes, stored in Denmark. But really I do not have time to re-read them. Instead, I will be looking forward to sharing them with my future children one day. Ah what if they won’t like them? That, I cannot imagine.

  1. I one hundred percent agree! To me, the sign of a good book if it makes you cry, not just at sad parts, but at the happy parts as well. J.K. Rowling has successfully been able to do that, a feat no author has done to me before. I will always stand by the books, and more than once, I have had to defend them to ignoramuses that have no idea what the books are about, yet choose to insult them. Harry Potter is the greatest symbol for “good vs. evil” I can think of, but it’s much, much more than that. I will forever carry the characters and story in my heart forever. So sorry for the rant:)

  2. Don’t be sorry – it was no rant, but simply a love letter to HP in comment form. Or that was how I read it. I’m so glad that there are other likeminded out there. And I didn’t get to that yet, but Snape is just one of the best fiction characters ever!
