I have been totally magazine obsessed since I was a little girl. I remember going to the library and browsing through their collection for hours. I was the youngest person sitting in the library’s reading room. But I didn’t really care – I was in another world. Funny enough I started studying literature before I realized that I wanted to be a journalist. To live for the pages. Write. I still love books and would never ever give them up. I do believe that to be a good journalist you need to have a solid literary backbone. You need to read, get inspired, decode how to formulate beautiful sentences. Why shouldn’t journalism be filled with arty, literary wording?
